Happy Friday everyone. I thought since I've been writing a lot about my mom lately, you might want to see a couple of pictures of her. The first one was taken on my sister Nancy's boat, out on Lake Minnetonka, 2 years ago in July. My mom, my husband and I, my 3 sister's, 2 brother's and their husband's and wives, get together every July on my mom's birthday. We would meet at the boat, take a beautiful, long boat ride, pull up to a dock at one of the awesome restaurants located on the lake, have dinner, then ride back, under the moonlit sky! We did this for 17 years in a row. My mom is sitting in between my sister Mary on the right and my sister Laurie on the left. Next to Laurie is my sister-in-law Nancy. (Yes....I have a sister Nancy, a sister-in-law Nancy and my mom's name is also Nancy!)
This next photo was taken at my niece's wedding last August. It is of my mom with my sister Mary. My mom looked so beautiful that night! We all had a blast together!
So I'm going to see her later this morning and I've been bringing her a card each time I visit. This is the one I'll give to her today. I used the butterfly from the Hero Arts Watercolor Petals Clear set.
Here is a closer view of the beautiful pins that were a gift from Alexandra. Thank you, Alexandra...I love them...and so will my mom!
Thanks for stopping by. I hope everyone has an enjoyable day today, with time for crafting.
