For the whole month of July, I have not made a card for the Hero Arts challenge. I'm struggling with it this time because I don't own any of their travel stamps and I only have one set that includes food. I thought it was high time I go out this cute set anyway, because I've only used it once. I forgot just how fun it is to play with the donuts and coffee cup! I ended up with lots and lots of different "flavored" donuts on my desk....to be used on another card someday, I hope. I decided that this one looked the yummiest! (Is that even a word?)
I used Swiss Dots embossing folder on the kraft card base and sanded a bit. I chose two different sizes of Nesties using my Cuttlebug. The coffee cup and donut are embossed, colored in using Distress Inks and attached with dimensional adhesive. I started out with pink pearls but then found this fun ribbon in my stash, so I changed them to the aqua colored ones.
Thanks for stopping by again. I think this is the first time I've ever done two posts in one day on my blog. Click here to see a card that was inspired by the amazing Sue McRae in my earlier post. You can imagine that absolutely nothing else has gotten done around the house today. Better run and at least throw a loud of laundry in before heading to work. See ya!
