Entering Another Challenge

Hi everyone!

I have to thank Lin for this one. She doesn't know it, but she inspired me to enter the challenge over on the Flourishes blog this week. I love this challenge photo and cannot wait to see the little spring flowers popping up out of the snow!

Isn't that a gorgeous picture!? I was inspired to take it quite literally, as I happen to have a Flourishes Crocus stamp. I water colored the background panel with Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress inks. The Crocus was stamped several times and colored with Copics. I then added Frosted Lace Stickles for the snow.

The small, dark image over to the right is a litte ladybug. Tough to tell in the photo. This was one of the first stamps I used when learning how to use Copics, so it was such fun coloring this image again!

Thanks for coming by! Hope the rest of your weekend is enjoyable! :)
