Happy World Card Making Day to you! I've been trying to make some cards today, but I can't seem to get away from all the wonderful blogs out there, and wanting to see what everyone else is creating! It's such a fun day, imagining all of us making cards at the same time! Love this hobby!
I did mange to create a couple of cards so far, and am hoping to whip up a couple more tonight.
Not sure about these two colors together, but it was fun getting inky with Distress Inks, in Peacock Feathers and Fired Brick.
This next one was fun to create too!
I made my own, stripey, glittered panel. I used some skinny, double-sided tape, then added some Ranger, Clear Rock Candy, Dry Glitter. I burnished the stripes and then colored each one with a dark red Copic marker. The white embossed snowflake is one from a Hero Arts clear set called, Snowflakes and the sentiment is from their Holiday Sayings set.
I'm entering both cards into the gallery for World Card Making Day here. The last one will also be entered into the Simon Says Stamp Challenge - Glimmer and Sparkle.
I hope you've all been enjoying lots of crafty time today! Thanks for stopping by! :)
