Hero Arts Hostess Blog Hop!!

Hi Everyone!

I hope you're all enjoying the Hero Arts Hostess blog hop!

It started back on Monday at the Hero Arts Blog. You can always head back there and start from the beginning for each day. You should have arrived here today from the blog of my talented friend, Arlene.

If you find a broken link, you'll find a master list of the hop links at the Hero Arts Blog. Also, please report broken links to: blog@heroarts.com.

Hero Arts will be awarding prizes from randomly drawn comments. For a chance to win, simply comment on ANY of the stops along the hop on ANY day, including each day’s starting post at the Hero Arts Blog. The more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!

I'm so excited to share my cards with you today! I could not stop playing with these fabulous stamps and apparently, I was totally in the mood to do some white embossing! (You'll see what I mean after scrolling down!) :)

My first card uses the gorgeous wood stamp called Leafy Vines.

Oh, how I love this stamp! I white embossed the Leafy Vines onto white paper, then used the emboss resist technique with three different blue Distress Inks, then added some green to the leaves with a Tombow marker.

For my next card, I used the awesome, Looped Circle Pattern wood stamp.

After white embossing this fun background stamp onto the red cardstock, I added a little dab of black Enamel Accents to the center of each flower. That wonderful, large sentiment is from the new, Fancy Basics clear set - love!!

My third card is a simple and easy design using the Etched Flower with Stem.

I again white embossed the image, this time onto a piece of dark gray cardstock. Then I used a scalloped circle die, and adhered that to a larger, soft pink die-cut circle to use as my card base. The white embossed sentiment is from an older, but favorite, clear set called, Big Hugs.

One more card!

This is another new Hero Arts stamp that I just LOVE!! It's the Everything Flower. I know, I know! I white embossed this one too! :) It started out white on white. The soft tan background was achieved by using Antique Linen Distress Ink. Then I used a combination of Tombow and Distress markers to make the flowers really colorful. I thought the buttons would make a fun addition to this happy card. A sentiment is stamped on the inside.

That's it from me, and I'm your last stop for today, but don't forget to stop back at the Hero Arts blog again tomorrow to see more of their fantastic new stamps! There will be 5 more hostesses sharing their amazing talent with you!

**GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED** Before I let you go, be sure to leave a comment here on my blog for a chance to win a box of stamping goodies from me! I'll include some new Hero Arts stamps, a die or two and some other fun goodies! I'll randomly choose one lucky person from all the comments.

Thanks so much for stopping by and happy hopping! :)
