Stenciled

Hi there!

If you're looking for my Hero Arts Hostess blog hop post, click here

I'm excited to be taking part in the newest online card class called, Stenciled! I love using stencils and there are so many fabulous designs out there to choose from now!

The first day of class was fantastic! I've created one card so far, using Debby Hughes' gorgeous card as my inspiration. I used her same design and ink colors with a different stencil and sentiment.

I love Iced Spruce and Evergreen Bough Distress Inks together! The stencil is from Memory Box called, Texture Honeycomb and the sentiment is in a clear set from Simon Says Stamp called, Happy Everyday.

I'm hoping to created at least a couple more cards from day one's lesson - so many fun ideas and tips!

Thanks for the visit! ♥

LOVE it, Barb - those colors are fast becoming your signatures, aren't they? I CASEd Debby's card, too, but didn't fade mine out nicely like you did......something to work on....

Well, look at you...our 'Star Student'!!! Oh, Barb, this is such a lovely card! I love how you used the hexagon stencil with the softness of Iced Spruce and richness of Evergreen Bough...Your sentiment is so pretty on vellum, and the twine is the perfect touch! Gorgeous card!!!

Beautiful job on the card and great job with the ink fade away technique... I just finished watching Debbie's video and thought I'd see how others fared... now doubly inspired and off to play.

Great take on Debby's card and what a wonderful colour combo. I rarely use Iced Spruce but you've inspired me to give it a try.
