SSS (To The Moon) And Back Again Releases Blog Hop Day 1!

 Hi guys!

Welcome to my blog! I'm so excited to be a part of the Simon Says Stamp, And Back Again release blog hop!

You might be a bit confused by the title of my post so let me explain. Last month, Simon released a new collection of products called, "To The Moon." It was a fabulous release but because of the holidays, we did not have a blog hop. Now, Simon is releasing another new collection called, "And Back Again." Isn't that fun? To The Moon - And Back Again! So today, I thought it would be a good idea to share a bunch of cards with you from BOTH releases!

FREE GIFT:

As you can see from the banner above, if you shop during the, "And Back Again" release blog hop, you'll receive Simon's exclusive, Love Gnome 3X4 stamp set FOR FREE, with any purchase! Just use the code: GNOMIE at checkout. This promotion will expire 1/23 at 11:59 pm EST.

GIVEAWAY:

Simon is also giving away a $25 gift certificate at every stop along the hop, from the comment sections! Be sure to leave a comment below for a chance to win. Simon will announce the winners on their blog on Wednesday, January 26.

SIMON GALLERIES:

Did you know Simon has card galleries for each of their releases and their card kits, and even a video gallery? It's true and you can add your very own cards and projects to these galleries! Here's a link to all the Simon Brand Galleries and here's the link to the new, And Back Again gallery. And just in case you'd like to take a look at last month's gallery, here's the To The Moon Release one. There is so much inspiration to see! I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects.

MY CARDS:

I'm going to start with cards I created for the, "And Back Again release." I had lots of fun playing with some of the new products!

I used a couple of awesome products on my first card. The Exotic Vines embossing folder and the Fancy Cake die set.

And because I had those peachy-pink inks from Simon still on my desk, I pulled out the new, Heart Masks stencil set. Boy are there endless possibilities with this fun set! I kept mine simple. The sentiment is from the new, Friend Greetings stamp set.

This next card was created using the Exotic Vines embossing folder and Copic markers. It's tough to see the dimension in the photo but all the colored areas are raised from the embossing. And that fabulous sentiment is from the, Outline Love die set.

I just had to use it one more time! It's such a pretty embossing folder! This one is an ode to my friend, Susan Opal. She makes the most beautiful cards and usually adds a pretty ribbon. It's been way too long since I've used ribbon, or a bow, on a card. I need to also mention that Simon's Pawsitively Saturated Inks work amazingly well with a brayer and an embossing folder! And with this new release, the reinkers are now available! Yay! The sentiment is from the Friend Greetings set.

Last up is this pretty, Snowflake card. It's still winter here in Minnesota, so these Watercolor Card packs, illustrated by Suzy Plantamura, are perfect for this time of year!

And here is a collage of the cards I created using last month's release called, To The Moon. I won't go into any explanations of how I made each one because this post is already too long! If you have any questions, let me know in a comment below and I'll try to answer as best I can.

Okay, that's it for me. I hope you've enjoyed the hop and that I've given you a few ideas on how to use some of the products from both of these fabulous releases! Thank you so much for stopping by!
