SIMON GALLERIES:

Here's a link to all the Simon Brand Galleries, and here's the link to the new Celebrate Gallery. There is so much inspiration to see! I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects as well!

MY CARDS:

I've got a few cards to share with you today. I loved playing with some of the products from this awesome release! Up first is this soft, pretty design created using the Daisy Oval Frame die set.

I kept the colors basically the same for my next card because I thought they were perfect for a cute wedding design. This is the adorable, To the Happy Couple stamp and die set! The background is again kept soft, using the fun, Dash and Dot stencil.

Okay, next up is this fun and colorful rainbow design! I just had to make it a shaker! I used the fabulous, Sunrise Overlay embossing folder, along with Simon's new, Starshine Embellishment Mix.

For my last card, I created a very simple design using the beautiful, Organic Leaves, 6x6 clear stamp and some pretty, green ink colors. I matted it onto some gold cardstock, then added a gold, die cut sentiment.

And that's a wrap for me. I hope I've given you a few ideas for using some of the products from this fabulous release!

Enjoy the rest of the hop and thank you so much for stopping by!

MY CARDS:

So many of the products in this release are right up my flower-loving alley! I was lucky to receive some products to play with but I also ordered lots more because this release is so fabulous! Anyway, my first card uses the beautiful, Lily of the Valley Arch embossing folder. I colored the raised image with Copic markers.

Next up is the Pretty Petals stamp set. This set is a multi-stamping set and so fun to play with! I used an older embossing folder to add some texture to the background. Simple and easy!

For my third card, I used the Lattice Tile stencil, along with the Meadow Swag die. The floral and leaf images were colored with Copics.

This card was a fun one to make! I used lots of pretty ink colors with the Lattice Tile stencil. The sentiments are from the Splendid Sentiment stamp set.

Okay, last card. This one also uses the Lattice Tile stencil but in a more subtle way. I inked up my card panel, then spritzed the stencil with some water and pressed it onto the panel to "lift off" some of the ink. Love that fun technique! And the flowers are from the Whirl Medallion die set.

That's it for me and I'm your last stop on today's hop. I hope I've given you a few ideas for using some of the products in this fantastic release. Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hugs,

MY CARDS:

First up is a card I created using the adorable, little stamp set called, Pot o' Gold. I did not have the coordinating dies but the pot is so easy to fussy cut. I did a little Copic coloring and added a bit of sparkle on the pieces of gold to give it some shimmer. The sentiment is from the new, Lucky You die set.

Up next is the Topography cling stamp. This is such a cool stamp! I white embossed it and used the ink smooshing technique, with some pretty Distress Ink colors, for an emboss resist effect. So simple to do! The sentiment is from an older release.

I used two, new products for my third and final card. The Bunny Trail stamp set is so adorable! I colored the image with Copics and fussy cut it out to add to the background, which was created using the Hippity Hoppity stencil. So fun!

That's it for me. I hope I've given you a few ideas for creating with some of the products from this fabulous release! Thanks so much for stopping by!

SSS Smitten and Sweetheart Releases Blog Hop Day 1!

Hi friends!

Welcome to my stop on the Simon Says Stamp Smitten and Sweetheart releases blog hop! If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, head over to Simon's blog here

FREE GIFT:

As you can see from the banner above, Simon is giving away their Hearts and Stars stencil! Just follow the steps shown in the graphic to receive it free with any purchase! This offer is good until Sunday 1/14 at 11:59pm ET.

GIVEAWAY:

Simon is giving away a $25 gift certificate at every stop along the hop, from the comment sections! Be sure to leave a comment below for a chance to win. Simon will announce the winners on their blog on Wednesday, January 17th.

SIMON GALLERIES:

Did you know Simon has card galleries for each of their releases and their card kits, and even a video gallery? It's true, and you can add YOUR VERY OWN CARDS AND PROJECTS to these galleries! Here's a link to all the Simon Brand Galleries, and here's the link to the new Smitten gallery and the new Sweetheart gallery. There is so much inspiration to see! I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects as well!

MY CARDS:

I have a bunch of cards to share from both releases, so I'll try not to write too much about them so you can breeze through. First up are my cards from the newest, Sweetheart release.

For this card, I used two new products - the Gentle Blooms die set and the Ornate Borders and Frames stamp set. I added a bit of shading with Copic markers to match the ink I used to stamp the frames.

Up next is this card where I used the same, Gentle Blooms die set, along with the Tessellating Snowflakes embossing folder.

This next card uses the Regal Hearts cling stamp. I white embossed it, then did the resist technique with some Distress Inks. I then cut it out in a heart shape and adhered it to an embossed panel.

I love these Friendship Leafy Cluster products! There is a stamp set, a matching die set AND a matching stencil set! I did not have the dies, so I just used the stamps and stencils for this card. It's soft and pretty, it's quick and simple, and it's perfect to send to a friend!

Okay, now for the cards I created from the Smitten release. Just a few more to share. Here is another fun stencil set called, Hearts in a Heart. Just choose a few, pretty colors and bam - another easy, quick card for a friend!

For this next one, I used an older heart stencil and added some leaves using the Grand Corner Leaves die set. I cut some leaves from vellum and for the others, cut from cardstock, I added shading using very light colors of Copic markers.

Here's one of my faves. If you know me at all, you know I'm the happiest when I'm coloring floral stamps. This is a cling stamp called Flower Burst. I white embossed it and colored the flowers with Copics. Swoon!

I shared these last two on my Instagram feed when the Smitten collection was released last month, so you may have seen them already but I wanted to share them here as well.

A tag created with Simon's gorgeous, Be Mine Glitter Cardstock and a cool, little, foil plate called, Heart Medallion.

My last card (I have a feeling you're all thinking, "thank goodness it's the last one!") was created using the adorable Kissing Booth stamp set. So cute!

If you're still here, thank you for hanging in there with me! I know that was a lot but I like to share as many examples as I can to give you an idea of what you can do with some of the products from these fantastic releases! I hope I've done that for you today.

Thank you for stopping by! I'm the last stop on the hop today but don't forget day 2 is tomorrow, starting at Simon's blog, so be sure to hop along again for lots more amazing inspiration!

Have a great day!
