Happy Saturday!
Day 10 of Stretch Your Stamps class was all about border stamps. I only have a few of these stamps and never use them! As with every other day in class, we were shown so many fun ways to stretch these kinds of stamps. My favorite was a card from Shari Carroll. Oh, I wish I could show you her card! She used border stamps along with some punched hearts to create the cutest card!
I CASED her card using an unknown set of clear stamps. I took a photo of the set to show you - if you know who makes this set, please let me know.
I used a few different borders from this set, stamped and white embossed them, then used the resist technique before punching out my hearts. Here's my card.
Since I was so inspired by Shari Carroll, and she's a Hero Arts artist, I'm also entering this into the, "Inspired By" challenge over at A Blog Named Hero.
I hope you're having a wonderful Saturday! I'm planning to work on Day 11 of class and then hopefully play in the Hero Arts Scramble later this evening - always love those fun scrambles! If you want to join in, here's the link to get you started.
Thanks so much for stopping by! :)

Barb, that is an AWESOME idea! I don't have many border stamps, but I would never think to use them to fill in a design. So clever and fun! I love your card...I agree, I wish I could see hers, too!
Absolutely delightful!! Love this so much, Barb!Love how you used your border stamps! They are so versatile!
Love your card!
Hello Barb
Today you have delighted us with a beautiful card... cased it maybe but I am sure you have put a little of YOU into it. I love the not so pastel colours, the Yellow creates the glow and we see it as cheerful, eye-catching and mellow, but also there is energy, and it is so visually appealing.
Smiles:)
