I Have the Best Job!

Hi there!

I wanted to share a few photos of my favorite time of year where I work. In case you don't know, I manage the floral department of small grocery store. When spring comes each year, we receive the most awesome plants!

I think part of the reason I love this time of year so much at work is because by now I am tired of the darker colors, with reds and greens during Christmas, then more red for Valentine's Day. I get so tired of red!

I didn't have a whole lot of time to take pictures but did shoot a few of my faves. So here they are - enjoy!

This is a pink, Angel's Parasol Hydrangea and I just love it!!

Same plant only in a very soft purple shade - love this one even more!

Isn't that the brightest, yellow, Gerbera Daisy you've ever seen?!

Hands down - Hyacinth are the best smelling flowers EVER!!! (Well, I do love the smell of Peonies too.)

Believe it or not, this is just one Hydrangea. One plant. It is so huge and so gorgeous! I got six of them in last Friday and when I got to work on Sunday, they were all sold! Isn't it amazing?!

We've got lots of pink plants. This pic shows a Hyacinth, a Cyclamen, a Tulip and a Primrose.

And one last photo. This is a box with a bunch of bouquets inside. I actually smiled when I opened this one. Such a wonderful bouquet - filled with springtime colors!

Hope you enjoyed a peek into what it's like where I work. Thanks for stopping by! ♥

Hello Barb,
Gorgeous, gorgeous flowers, as soon as I saw the Yellow Gerbera, I turned my head and looked at mine. Rob bought me a bouquet of these yesterday, and I thought how beautiful they were, flowers certainly bring a smile to one's face.
Smiles :-)

Seems like I'm always late for the party!

Oh my, so much beauty in these photos, Barb! I love all the bright colors, but I'm really partial to the soft purple hydrangea's! It must be wonderful to work in the department where customers stop in to ooh and ahh after all the work you've put into your displays and arrangements! What a cool job you have!

Thanks so much for sharing all of these photos with us...sending you and your family my best wishes for a Happy Easter!

How wonderful to be surrounded with gorgeous flowers at work! I really love the pink & purple hydrangeas. Can't wait until mine blooms this year. It started as a small plant from a florist & now I have to cut it down every year to keep it from blocking the window! Hope you had a lovely Easter, Barb.
