Hey guys!
I'm back for another week of guest designing for Paper Smooches!
I love their Triangles Die and had lots of fun trying to come up with different ways to use it!

For my first card, I cut it out using masking paper and used it as a stencil to create a fun, simple retirement card. Here's what the die looks like when it's cut.
I used Distress Oxide Inks for the colors. Man, those inks sure do blend easily! If you haven't tried them, or think you don't need them because you already have the regular Distress Inks, think again! They really are amazing!
Both sentiments are from the fabulous set called New Beginnings 2. It's filled with lots of different sentiments that you can use for so many occasions! Definitely a must have.
I went a little crazy on my next card. Lol! I started by using Distress Oxide Inks again, but this time I just smooshed them onto my craft sheet, spritz them with water, then laid my watercolor cardstock down on top of the ink, a couple different times, to achieve some pretty colors. After that was dry, I die-cut it with the Triangles Die, two different times.
I laid down the negative portion so that I could glue all the different triangles where I wanted them. Once they were all securely in place and the glue was dry, I removed the negative portion and added my sentiment strip - another one from the New Beginnings 2 set. I love the way it turned out!
Dies like the Triangles one are really fun because they can be used in so many different ways! I hope I've inspired you today!
Thanks for stopping by! ♥
