I'm really enjoying the Holiday Card Workshop! Day two was all about interactive cards. I was excited because I just received a new stamp set from Art Impressions called, Snowman Shaker. It comes with an action wobbler and it was so fun to play with!
He is such a cute snowman! I colored him with Copics and stamped the extra, middle portion to attached it with the action wobbler. Here's a close-up of the wobbling.
Hee, hee! Makes me happy! I used the Stitched Slopes and Hills die set for the snowbanks and also the Falling Snow Stencil with embossing paste, both from Simon Says Stamp.
Day 3 of class was about watercolor cards. The designers' cards were all fabulous but my favorite was by Dawn from WPlus9! She is an AMAZING artist with so much talent! She created a woodgrain background with watercolors and a wreath too. Here is my take.
I can't tell you how gratifying it was to actually create something like this! Although, without Dawn's guidance and video, I would never have been able to do it. She is so inspiring! I used Distress inks and markers along with the Woodland Wreaths set from WPlus9.
That's it for me. Once again, I am up very late so I can share a blog post. I never seem to find time to do it earlier in the day or evening. Thank you for stopping by - I'm so glad you did! ♥
