I hope you're not all hopped out yet because there are still so many fabulous designers to see! If you've been following along, you've just arrived from the sweet, adorable and talented, Suzanne Dahlberg's blog called, Freshly Noted. Isn't she awesome?! If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, head on over to the SSS blog here.
At each stop on the hop you will have a chance to win a Simon Says Stamp Prize pack just for leaving a comment! The more blogs you stop at and comment on, the better your chances of winning! Simon will be choosing the randomly selected winners on April 28th, so you still have a few days to finish the hop.
I received some of the awesome stamps from this new release and couldn't wait to play! I've created quite a few cards, so let's get started!
The first three cards use the adorable, Baby Party Animals stamp set. This set can be used for kids' birthdays and baby cards, but as you'll see, you can also use it for anyone's birthday!
Here's a baby shaker card using only two of the sentiments from this cute set.
I also softly stamped the background using Sea Glass ink and the new, Falling Hearts cling stamp. This is a must have background stamp that I'll be using for lots of cards throughout the year! The shaker portion was created using the Stitched Circles die set.
I used three of the four darling animal stamps from the same set for my next card. They are so fun to color!
See that fun, dotty background? That was created using the Falling Backgrounds set. It comes with four different "falling" images that help you create some really cool backgrounds! I stamped the confetti image from the set with Salty Ocean and Cracked Pistachio Distress inks.
Okay, one more using the same set. This one could be given to anyone for a birthday.
Yup! Those darling presents, along with the swirly, curly images, come in this set too! I colored the gifts with Copics and stamped the swirls with the following Simon Says Stamp inks: Maliblue, Green Apple, Sunshine and Doll Pink. The sentiment is from an older SSS set called, Handwritten Sentiments.
Next up is another wonderful cling stamp called, Falling Stars. Just like the Falling Hearts stamp, I know it'll be a favorite!
I love white embossing a stamp like this, then using Distress Inks to create a fun, watercolor background! The sentiment is the, You're Amazing die, which I also love!
For a similar card, I used the confetti image again from the Falling Backgrounds set to create this pretty, celebratory card.
More Distress Inks were used over the white embossed confetti but this time I just blended them together using Abandoned Coral, Spiced Marmalade and Squeezed Lemonade. Love this combo! The sentiment is from an old favorite set called, Hand Lettered Encouragement.
We're getting to the final cards, I promise! I used a fun technique which I learned from Kristina Werner to create a set of thank you cards with the new, Circle Dots Stencil.
Okay, that's it. I apologize for the long post but I always have such a tough time not playing with all the stamps I receive. This SSS new release is so fabulous! I've only shared a few different products here but there is so much more! You can check it all out here.
Your next stop on the hop is the amazing, Heather Ruwe at her blog, Handmade by Heather. If you haven't seen her work, it is a MUST! She is sooooo talented!
Thanks so much for stopping by! ♥
