My Least Favorite Month and Lots of Coloring on Dies.

Hi guys!

If you know me at all, you know I hate winter and the month of January is my least favorite! The cold temps, (I should say, below zero temps) the snow that needs to be shoveled, (daily it seems) the cloudy, gray days and lots less daylight, all come together in this one, icky month. Lol! I'm trying hard to get through it and I'm normally a very upbeat, positive person but I always find myself wishing January would go faster. ***SIGH***

Anyway, enough of my complaining! Every year, as soon as Christmas is over, I break out the floral stamps and dies and use as many springy/summery colors as I can, to bring warmth and sunshine into my life. (note the new blog header too) Today I've got a few cards to share which do just that!

This first card doesn't have any flowers but I adore that blue color! I just used a couple of Copic markers to add some depth to this gorgeous, Circle Leaves die from Simon Says Stamp.

An older stamp set that I love is this, Handwritten Floral Greetings set from Simon! Love coloring this flower with Copics! The, Believe die set is awesome! There is also a stamp set that coordinates with it beautifully!

Another die set colored but this time I used Zig Markers for a watercolor look. The die is from Simon and it's called, Elegant Roses. I used the inlaid diecutting technique.

More coloring on dies. It's really fun to do! Don't ya just love those blues and yellows together? I do! Again, I colored the die-cut pieces with Copic markers and used inlaid diecutting. That gorgeous, Heart of Flowers die is fabulous! And the die-cut sentiment? So perfect for lots of people in my life!

So, for those of you in colder climates, how are you getting through the cold, dreary months of winter? I would love to hear. And for those of you who happen to live where it's warm now, send me a bit of that warmth and include some sunshine too please! Lol!

Thanks for stopping by! Here's to a fast-paced January!

Hugs,
Barb ♥
