CARDS

Okay, let's get to my cards. I was sent some of the new products to play with and, as usual, I had lots of fun creating with them. My first card uses the Filigree Butterfly Die. I's just so pretty and I immediately thought of something elegant, so after cutting out several of the butterflies on a panel, I backed it with some beautiful, silver, shimmery cardstock. The sentiment is from the, Daisy Bouquet stamp set and I think the clear sequins finished it off nicely.

My next card is a special one. This stamp and die set is called, Patriotic Service and it has some perfect images and sentiments for anyone who serves our country. I created a simple, layered card with a few of the images. It's difficult to see in the photo but I lightly stamped the flag image in the background.

For my next three cards, I used Suzy's Celebrate Dad Watercolor Prints. I absolutely LOVE these prints! And you don't have to use watercolors. You can use any color medium you have. They are so fun to color! The first one was done with Zig Markers and the other two were colored with Copics.

Aren't they fun? If you've never tried them, I highly recommend you give them a shot. They are perfect for practicing your coloring.

I really loved creating this next card. I used the Rounded Alphabet Die set. I first created a panel using Alcohol Pearl Inks in some of my fave colors. (Had so much fun getting all inky!) I also added bits of silver foil before cutting out the letters. The scored lines give a little more interest to the background.

Okay, here's my last card. I water colored this one with my Zig Markers. I ADORE this, Daisy Bouquet stamp set! I can't wait to stamp and color all the other images in this set.

That's it for me. Next up on the hop is the awesome and talented, Cheiron at her blog, My Crafty Life.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope I've given you some ideas and inspiration for using some of the new products.
