More CASology

It's Friday and I am not feeling well at all. I've caught my hubby's cold and cough - yuk! Hate being sick in the summer! I have to go to work today too - can't miss it unless I have a fever or am throwing up - those are actually MY rules, not work's. I always feel so guilty calling in sick, so I just never do. Part of the reason is because all the other department heads come to work when they're sick, so I sort of feel like I have to too. Bummer!

Anyway, I'll survive and will definitely be resting all day tomorrow. I do have a card to share with you. It's another fruity one for the CASology challenge. (Not sure if I am allowed to submit more than one card per challenge.)

I used another Flourishes stamp, from the same set, Peaches and Cherries, but this time I used the peaches stamp. I've never colored peaches before, so this was sort of a challenge. (Used my Copics again.)

The sentiment is from the same set, and I just added a few buttons for fun.

Have a good weekend! :)

Finally, a Card For CASology!

I've been wanting to participate over at the new CASology challenge blog since it started a few weeks ago, and I finally had the chance to play along - yay! :)

I must say, I just love the idea of using a cue word for our inspiration - brilliant! This week our word is FRUIT.

I immediately thought of some of the fruit stamps I have from Flourishes, and decided to pull out the cherries stamp from their Peaches and Cherries set. I struggle with creating clean and simple designs, but I tried really hard to keep it that way with this card!

I colored the cherries with Copics. The sentiment comes with the set and I love it - it's so true!

Thanks for stopping by! :)

Friend

It's a stormy Tuesday, which is actually a nice change - we need the rain. Unfortunately, it also happens to be my day off from work - but that's okay because there's always crafting to fall back on!

I sat down with some stamps and ink this morning, not knowing where they would take me, and this is the result.

I've got some exciting news coming up at the beginning of next month - can't wait to share it with you!

Enjoy your week and thanks for the visit! :)
