Happy Friday!
Whenever I'm on vacation, I always hope I feel the mojo to create a bunch of cards, but that didn't happen this week. I've had a terrible time trying to create a card for the last 4 days. So, I decided it would be the perfect time to clean and reorganize my craft space.
I was going to show you the before photos but I think you would have screamed and ran as far away from my blog as possible, so I'm only sharing the after! I loved this idea, from Jennifer McGuire, about storing your clear stamps. I went out and found the same clear binder sheets and went to town sorting, labeling and boxing them up. I love it!! Have a look:
Here's a close-up of one of the clear boxes. This one stores my cling stamps in the same binder sheets - love that!
I just HAD TO share this next pic with you too! It's the cutest little thing! It measures 7 inches high and 6 inches wide and stores some smaller embellishments, extra buttons and pearls that end up on my desk, a few ribbon scraps and small flowers and die-cuts. Don't ya love those cute, little drawers!?
With all this organization, I tried to sit down and make a card. I started by stamping the Life of the Party Stars from Hero arts with VersaMark and white embossed. Then I added some color with lots of different blue Distress Stains and spritzed with Perfect Pear water. The bigger stars were punched out of white cardstock and also spritzed to give them some shimmer too. The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's Flutterby set.
I want to thank you all for continuing to visit my blog and for leaving the nicest comments - it really means so much to me! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend - I don't work until Monday, so I know I'll enjoy mine! :)
