Simon Says Stamp DieCember Blog Hop Day 1!

Hi Friends!

Welcome to my stop on day 1 of the Simon Says Stamp, DieCember blog hop! I'm so glad you're here! Simon kicked off DieCember with a fantastic release and I'm excited to share some cards with you! If you'd like to start at the beginning of today's hop, head over to Simon's blog here.

As you can see from the banner above, Simon is giving away their Aidan Snowflake die! Just follow the steps shown in the graphic to receive it free with any purchase! This offer is good until Friday 12/8 at 11:59pm ET.

Simon is giving away a $25 gift certificate at every stop along the hop, from the comment sections! Be sure to leave a comment below for a chance to win. Simon will announce the winners on their blog on Wednesday, December 13th.

Did you know Simon has card galleries for each of their releases and their card kits, and even a video gallery? It's true, and you can add YOUR VERY OWN CARDS AND PROJECTS to these galleries! Here's a link to all the Simon Brand Galleries, and here's the link to the new DieCember release Gallery. There is so much inspiration to see! I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects as well!

I received some products from the DieCember release and had so much fun playing with them! First up is this snowy card, using the Fretwork Snowflake die. I cut it several times from a sheet of Simon's Color Blend Card Stock and adhered them to an embossed, ink blended background. So fun!

Next up is the new, Celebrate Foil Plate. I did not have the matching die, so I just fussy cut around the sentiment and adhered it to a rose gold, embossed panel. Perfect for a New Year's card or wedding card. The older, snowy embossing folder I used for the background looks like champagne bubbles, doesn't it?

For my next card, I used the Joyful Greetings stamp set. I paired it with some older products to create a fun, holiday shaker card.

Here is a sweet, little tag created using the adorable, Festive Candy Cane stencil set.

This next die is so cool, with endless possibilities. It's the Boho Chain die. I kept my card very simple using a fave color combo.

My last card uses another really cool product. It's an embossing folder called Rhythmic Waves and the results look so unique! I embossed it on vellum and adhered it to an ink blended background, then added a die cut sentiment in opposite colors. Hope that makes sense.

That's it for me. I hope I've given you some ideas for using some of the products from this fabulous release

Day 2 of the hop will be next Friday, December 8th. Be sure to stop by Simon's blog for a ton more inspiration!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
