Watercolor For Card Makers Day #3

Hi there!

This is hopefully gonna be a quick post. It's late and I've got a crazy weekend coming up, so I need to get some sleep. I feel so far behind, not just with the online class, but with everything in my life right now. This always happens when I work more hours during a week. I'm really looking forward to Monday when things get back to a normal schedule!

On day 3 of the Watercolor For Card Makers class, Jennifer McGuire shared a fun technique for stamping with watercolors. I created a similar card but chose more vibrant colors for my background.

I used a new Hero Arts clear stamp set that I love. It's called, Sunshine Daisies. The flowers in this set are awesome!

Here's a close-up:

This class is so fun and I'm really enjoying playing with all the different watercolor techniques! I've created another card for Day 4 but haven't photographed it yet. Hopefully soon!

Thanks for your visit! ♥

Water Color For Card Makers Day 1

Hi there!

Tonight I have a card to share for the newest online card class called, Water Color For Card Makers. It started today and the lessons were awesome! Three videos were shown with such fun techniques and I couldn't wait to try the one Jennifer Rzasa taught us!

Who would ever think using water colors with a stencil could turn out like that!? Typically, water colors will end up seeping through portions of the stencil and the end results will be just a big blob of color. So, if you're wondering how how did it, you need to take the class!

I WILL give you one hint though. The first step is NOT laying down the stencil.

The other two techniques were shared by Laura Bassen and Kristina Werner. I had to go to work today and haven't had a chance to play with those ones yet. It's not going to be easy trying to keep up with homework because of all the hours I'll be working. It's Mother's Day week and one of my busiest in the floral department, but I'm going to try as hard as I can to stay caught up with the lessons. Good thing I'm a night owl!

Hope your week has started off well! Thanks for stopping by! ♥
