Did you know Simon has card galleries for each of their releases and their card kits, and even a video gallery? It's true and you can add your very own cards and projects to these galleries! Here's a link to all the Simon Brand Galleries and here's the link to the new Hello Beautiful gallery. There is so much inspiration to see! I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects.

MY CARDS:

I was sent some fabulous products to play with and I had so much fun! For my first two cards, I used the beautiful, Spring Blooms Corner Wafer Die. I just ink-blended a white piece of card stock, then die-cut into that panel. Love when you can get two for one!

I love this next product! It's called, Botanical Split Background Cling. On the first card, I did some emboss resist and on the second card, I tried a fun technique called, Emerging Watercolor. I learned it from Gina K. over on her YouTube channel.

Up next is the awesome, Mix and Match Squares Stencil. I love all the possibilities with this one! I chose to create a fun, rainbow card.

Last but certainly not least is this adorable coloring card, illustrated by Suzy Plantamura! These card-packs are filled with a bunch of different images and this particular package is called, Suzy's Easter Pals. Eeeep! So cute! I used Copics to color this one but you can also use watercolors. And I cut the panel out with one of the dies from the, Chunky A2 Scalloped Rectangles die set. So fun!

Okay, that's it for me. I hope I've given you some ideas for using a few of the products from this fantastic new release!

Up next is the amazingly talented Lea Lawson!

Enjoy the rest of the hop and don't forget to stop by Simon's blog again tomorrow, for day 2 of the hop!

Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Clematis & Artist Alcohol Markers Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hi guys!

I'm excited to welcome you to my stop on the Altenew Paint-A-Flower: Clematis & Alcohol Markers Release blog hop!

You should've arrived here from Lilith Eeckels' blog. If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, head over to the Altenew blog.

GIVEAWAY:

To celebrate this release, Altenew is giving away a $50 gift certificate to two lucky winners and a $20 gift certificate to five winners! Please leave a comment on the Altenew Card Blog and each designer’s blog hop post by 02/28/2021 for a better chance to win. Altenew will draw the seven random winners, from blog hop comments, and announce them on the Altenew Winners Page on 03/02/2021.

MY CARD:

When Altenew sent me their new Artist Markers, I screamed with delight when I saw the colors! These two sets of markers are so gorgeous! They're perfect for coloring flowers and you all know how much I love doing that! I mean, look at these colors! So yummy!

So, I decided to do something I rarely do. Normally I would do my coloring on white card stock but I wanted to try coloring on kraft card stock instead. I don't have the new Paint-A-Flower Clematis, so I pulled out one of my favorite Altenew stamp sets - the Statement Flowers set.

Using kraft colored card stock was out of my comfort zone but I really like the way this turned out, and the new Artist Markers worked beautifully on it! I'm very much looking forward to using them again on white card stock!

Next up is Tenia Nelson!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope I've given you a bit of inspiration on using these beautiful markers!

Enjoy the rest of the hop.
