I had so much fun playing with some of the new products! I must admit, it was a bit challenging for me this time, coming up with designs that don't have much to do with coloring. It was good for me though, to be pushed out of my Copic and water coloring comfort zone. Yay, me! (Insert fist pump here.)

I decided to create a shaker card with the "Anchor Tag" Die because. . . . well, who doesn't love a shaker, am I right?

I also played with another die, simply called, "Anchor" Die. I cut out two of them, quickly colored each one with a couple of Copic Markers and created this CAS card.

The, "Summa Time" stamp set is a cute one! As you can see in the photo, (off to the left) I used the sweet, little orange slice image to create my own, colorful, citrus-y background. After stamping and white embossing, I just used some Distress Oxide Inks with the resist technique. So easy to do!

Simon has more of their amazing, filigree dies available with this release too. On this card, I used the "Filigree Flower" Die but just the center portion. I cut them all out, shaded them with one Distress Oxide Ink pad, adhered them all down and added a sentiment. Simple but fun!

The "Hexagon Element" Die is a fun one! I used my Copics again to color each piece after die cutting the images. I did a little inlay technique but popped a few of them up for more dimension and interest. The sentiment on this one is from the "Summa Time" set. Love the whimsical fonts!

Okay, last card. Another filigree die called, "Filigree Wreath." I actually made a stencil out of the die cut this time, used soft Distress Oxide Ink colors and a blender tool to "color" through the stencil. I then cut out another image and lined it up over the colored portion. I love how this turned out - could be because my fave color combo is pink and green. ;)

I hope I've given you some inspiration for using some of the new release products! Your next stop on the hop is my sweet and very talented friend, Marge at her blog, Marge Crafts.

Thanks so much for stopping by! ♥
