So Excited About This!!!

Hi everyone!

If you're looking for my Hero Arts blog hop post, click here.

I'm really excited to share some fun news with you! As many of you know, I'm the administrator for the Simon Says Stamp Flickr group and we have challenges over there every two weeks.

Our newest challenge just started yesterday and the theme is, "Get Crafty With Kraft" but the best part is that we've teamed up with Lawn Fawn's Flickr group for this one! Isn't that fun?!

Lawn Fawn's group moderator is my sweet friend, Nancy Krueger and the two of us have been in cahoots, working hard to bring this fun challenge to life.

Here is the direct link to the challenge, where you'll find all the details, rules and guidelines.
Co-Challenge on Flickr with Lawn Fawn and Simon Says Stamp.

Both Lawn Fawn and Simon Says Stamp are giving away two $25.00 gift cards to randomly chosen winners! That's FOUR winners - woo, hoo!

We hope you'll stop by and check out the challenge! We're looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with using kraft!

Thanks for stopping by! ♥

We were all sent some new stamps to play with and I couldn't wait to get started! I love the Tropical Background Cling stamp and I could not stop playing with it. You can get so many different looks from this one stamp.

This card took awhile to create but I love playing with ink so it was fun! , after white embossing the image, I added color with three different Distress Inks, a bit of water and a tiny paintbrush. And that fabulous sentiment is from a set called, Happy Stamp and Cut. It comes with the Happy die and a bunch of coordinating sentiments!

This next card was done by stamping the same image in black and clear embossing.

I love how it turned out! The colors were added using Distress Inks and a foam applicator. I have to thank my friend Kelly for giving me this fun idea!

And yes, I made one more card using this awesome stamp! This one is a bit more subtle.

This time, I inked up the stamp with a few different shades of blue ink, spritzed with just a little water, then stamped it onto a piece of watercolor paper. I love that new sentiment stamp - it's a little wood stamp called, Thankful.

I DID play with another stamp set too. This one is called, Stamp Your Own Plant. It comes with a wonderful variety of leafy images. I used one of the leaf clusters from the set, stamping the image with a couple of different shades of green Distress Inks.

I added some splatters and inked the edges of my panel before stamping the sentiment. Love those mixed fonts!

And that's a rap! We hope you have all enjoyed the hop! If you've missed any of the stops along the way, please head over to the Hero Arts blog to find all the days and links of the hop.

Thanks so much for stopping by! ♥
