It's a DieCember Party!

Hi friends! Happy DieCember! I'm excited to be part of this fun, blog party! There is so much inspiration to be found today, so I hope you get the chance to check out all the crafters who are participating. You can start at Simon's blog, where they have a list of links to all the makers from around the world, helping celebrate DieCember.

FREE GIFT:

As you can see from the banner above, Simon is giving away their Fancy Ornaments Embossing Folder and die set with the purchase of $100 or more of DieCember release products! No code needed. It will be automatically added to your cart, once you meet the dollar amount requirement.

SIMON GALLERIES:

Did you know Simon has card galleries for each of their releases and their card kits, and even a video gallery? It's true, and you can add YOUR VERY OWN CARDS AND PROJECTS to these galleries! Here's a link to all the Simon Brand Galleries, and here's the link to the new, DieCember Gallery. There is so much inspiration to see! I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects as well!

MY CARDS:

I'm so grateful that I was sent some DieCember products to play with but I must admit, I struggled a bit with my mojo last month. Every once in awhile, my mojo takes a hike and this was one of those times. I'm not thrilled with how a couple of these cards turned out but will still share them because that's life sometimes!

Up first is this card using the adorable, Cozy Together stamp set, along with the lovely, Nordic Arch and Corners die set. I wanted a really soft look, so I just used a light pink ink before white embossing the image.

For my next card, I used the really cool, Postage Collage Cover die set. This set is so versatile and could be used in so many different ways! The sentiments you see are from the Everyday EZ Strips - and get this - they were cut out with the matching, EZ Strips Rectangles die! Check the second photo to see what I'm talking about. The die lines up perfectly with all the sentiments and cuts them out all at once. Love that!

Okay, so I used the Postage Collage Cover die set again, for my next two cards, along with the Cozy Together stamp set. Two totally different cards. I only used the outer frame for this one.

And this one was created using the outer frame plus the insides of the scalloped squares too. So fun!

That's it for me. I hope I've given you a few ideas for using some of the products from this fun release! Thanks so much for stopping by and Happy DieCember!

SIMON GALLERIES:

Did you know Simon has card galleries for each of their releases and their card kits, and even a video gallery? It's true, and you can add YOUR VERY OWN CARDS AND PROJECTS to these galleries! Here's a link to all the Simon Brand Galleries, and here's the link to the new, Festive Fun gallery. There is so much inspiration to see! I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects as well!

MY CARDS:

I love this release and I had lots of fun playing with some of the products! First up is this cutie from the adorable, Jolly Christmas stamp set. I did not have the dies, so I fussy cut the images and adhered them to an ink blended, splattered panel, then stamped the sentiment.

The next set of cards showcases the Falling Snowflakes Foil Transfer Cards. These cards are so easy to use! All you need is some foil and a laminator. I did add a bit of color and embossing to the edges of a couple of them, and ink blended the entire panel of the last one, after foiling.

Up next is the Angels and Stars stencil. I only had the stencil, (there's a stamp and die set too) so I decided to create a soft card with some very light ink colors.

For my next card, I used the Snowman Cupcake die set. It's a cute, little set and so fun to play with! I ink blended all the pieces, making each hat a different color.

My last card uses the adorable, Pocket Full of Mushrooms die set. I used a bit of ink blending on the mushrooms, added a few details to each one, then adhered them onto an embossed card front. I love how pretty they look!

Okay, that's it from me. I hope I've given you a few ideas for using some of the products from this awesome release.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of the hop!

I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects as well!

MY CARDS:

I have a few cards to share with you today, using some of the awesome products in this fun release! Up first is a very simple slimline design, created with the Artsy Florals stamp set. I colored the flowers with Copic markers and the pretty sentiment is included in the set.

For my next card, I used the Stems and Leaves stencil to create a soft background. The butterfly die cut is from an earlier release and I used another one of the sentiments from the Artsy florals set, this time gold embossed.

Next up is the Halloween Cat die set. This little set is so adorable! After a bit of shading and some simple Copic coloring, I added a few sequins and a couple of sentiments from an older set.

This next card was so fun to make! Once in awhile I like to use nontraditional colors for a Christmas card. I used some masking to create the pastel stripes. Once I white embossed each of the sentiments, I used a gray Copic marker to add a shadow to each one. I also used some of the new Pawsitively Dazzling Gems in opal. They're so pretty!

For my last card, I used the beautiful, Fancy Peace die set. An older, snowflake embossing folder made the perfect background for this pretty die!

That's it for me. I hope I've given you some ideas on how to use a few of the products from this awesome release! Thanks so much for stopping by!

You'll receive Simon's exclusive, Black, 3D Foam Squares Variety Pack, free with any purchase! Just follow the steps in the graphic above! There are lots of other surprise gifts within the posts of the participants, so make sure you go find them all!

SIMON GALLERIES:

Did you know Simon has card galleries for each of their releases and their card kits, and even a video gallery? It's true, and you can add YOUR VERY OWN CARDS AND PROJECTS to these galleries! Here's a link to all the Simon Brand Galleries, and here's the link to the new, STAMPtember Gallery. There is so much inspiration to see! I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects as well!

MY CARDS:

I've created a few cards to help celebrate this fun month. Up first is the fun, Pumpkin to Talk About stamp set. I used Copic markers to color the image and added an embossed sentiment on a vellum strip.

Next up is a really cool stencil set called, Quilting Quarters. The creativity is endless with this set. I used it with some pastel inks to create a fun, geometric background. The die cut Thanks is from the Autumn Leaf Frames die set.

For this next card, I used the Falling Hearts embossing folder. I framed the embossed panel with a soft pink frame to create a cute shaker card. The sentiment is from an older set.

I used the Block Alpha Words stamp set for my next card. I ink-blended a panel, then white embossed one part of the stamp set, and just stamped the other. I thought the contrast was fun. So many possibilities with this set too!

Last but not least is this adorable, little stamp set called, Pumpkin Spice Vibes. Another ink-blended panel, but with fall colors this time. After coloring the cups with Copics, I fussy cut them out to adhere to the panel for a bit of dimension.

Okay, That's it from me. I hope I've given you a few ideas for using some of the products in this amazing release! Enjoy the rest of the party and happy STAMPtember!

MY CARDS:

I had so much fun playing with some of the products from this fantastic release! I usually share five or six cards with each release but today I have just three.

Up first is this adorable set called, Halloween Friends. I colored these cuties with Copic markers, fussy cut them and adhered them to a piece of cardstock from a beautiful 6x6 paper pack. I thought it made the perfect Halloween backdrop. I also used the Bat Trio die set to finish off this fun card!

This next card uses the beautiful, Cosmos Duo die set. I also used Simon's new Clear Acetate Cards to create something a bit different. Not easy to photograph but hopefully you get the idea. The background is inside the acetate and was made using the new, Rolling Waves embossing folder.

For my final card, I used one of my favorites from the release. The Just Write stamp set and the Just Write Layered Pencils stencil set. Seriously, sooo much fun! I used lots of Simon's Pawsitively Saturated Inks to create a rainbow of pencils!

I hope I've given you a few ideas for using some of the products in this awesome release! Thanks so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of the hop!

I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects as well!

MY CARDS:

Up first is this fun, colorful card, using the Lemon Tree embossing folder. I used Zig Markers for a fresh, yummy, watercolor look.

For my next card, I used the Tin Roof stencil. I first blended some soft ink colors through the stencil, then added some clear embossing paste through the stencil to create a shiny, raised design. I added the panel to one of the sheets from the Bold Brights Color Blend Cardstock pack. I thought it coordinated nicely. The sentiment is from the Just Breathe stamp set.

This next card uses only the Just Breathe stamp set. This set has so many beautiful, encouraging sentiments! A simple card, with rainbow colors, to show someone you care.

This one is so fun! It's the Summer Fruit Tiles stamp set. This set has coordinating stencils and dies, which I did not have, so I just stamped a portion of the stamp and colored the images with Copic Markers. I love the yummy, summer feel!

My last card showcases the Lily of the Valley Stem die set. I ink-blended a frame and did some very simple, Copic coloring for a quick and easy, yet elegant card. And I also used another sentiment from the Just Breathe stamp set.

That's it for me. I hope I've given you some ideas on how to use a few of the products from this awesome release! Enjoy the rest of the hop and thanks so much for stopping by!
