I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects as well!

MY CARDS:

My first card showcases the Warm Mug die and stencil set. Some pink mittens, a hint of a teal sweater and a warm latte? Yes please! And that wonderful sentiment is from the Stacked Holiday Sentiments set. It's a must have!

Up next is a card I created using the adorable, Cozy in the Cold stamp set. I adore the sweet images in this set! I decided to make a clean and simple card, coloring the stamped image with Copics on kraft cardstock. And what is Christmas without a little sparkle?!

Here are a couple of tags I made using the Rounded Tags die set and the Magical Mistletoe die set. Two, very different looks.

For my last card, I used the beautiful, Branching Holly embossing Folder. I used my Copics again to color the embossed image and added a bit of sparkle to the berries. The sentiment is another one from the Stacked Holiday Sentiments set.

Okay, that's it from me. I hope I've given you some inspiration for using a few of the products from this fantastic release! Enjoy the rest of the hop and don't forget to stop by Simon's blog tomorrow for day 2 of the hop!

SSS Blog Hop With Coordinating Dies For Tim Holtz's Holiday Stamps!

 Hi friends!

Welcome to my stop on this fun blog hop, showcasing new dies from Simon Says Stamp that coordinate with some of Tim Holtz's holiday stamp sets!

MY CARDS:

I've got quite a few cards to share with you today, so let's get to it! First up is the Holiday Things stamp and die set. I created an inky background using the snowflake image from the stamp set, along with some splatters, before adhering the tree and deer images.

My next card uses the Holiday Sketchbook set. 'Tis the season to hustle around town, getting it all done. I used Copic markers to color these cute images.

I created a couple of tags using the Tattered Christmas set. There are so many fun images in this set and they're the perfect size for creating gift tags!

The tree images in the Scribbly Christmas set are so pretty! I used a few different blue and green inks and gave each tree a bit of dimension before adhering them on the snowy, embossed background.

Here's a card using the Holiday Postmarks stamp and die set. I thought an embossed, snowflake background would help highlight these sweet, little images.

And for my last card, it's the beautiful, Festive Collage set. I used a faux watercolor, stamping technique to stamp the image. After die cutting, I popped up the image with dimensional adhesive and adhered it back into the negative space. A few splatters and a sentiment and the card was done.

That's it for me. I hope you've enjoyed the hop and I hope I've given you a bit of inspiration for using these fabulous, coordinating dies! The dies, along with Tim's stamp sets, are all available now at Simon Says Stamp.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects as well!

MY CARDS:

My first card showcases the Christmas Candles embossing folder. After embossing the image I used Copic markers to give it some color. The sentiment is from the Inside Greetings Holiday stamp set. I cut apart the words to fit my design.

Up next is the adorable, Christmas Cats stamp set. With these darling, little images I decided to make a set of small cards to fit on smaller gifts. After coloring the images I fussy cut them out before attaching them to my cards.

For my third card I used the Holiday Duo die set, along with an older embossing folder. Simon's metalic red cardstock is perfect for these dies! You could easily mass produce this design.

And inside this card, I used another sentiment from the Inside Greetings Holiday set. I highly recommend this set! So many wonderful sentiments!

I used some of the new inks that Simon released during STAMPtember for my last card. Man, I love these colors! The stencil set I used is called Patchwork. So fun!

That's it from me. I hope I've given you a few ideas for using some of the products from this awesome release! Thank you so much for stopping by!

It's a STAMPtember Party!

 Hi friends!

Happy STAMPtember! I'm excited to be a part of this epic blog party today and excited for Simon's huge release to kick off the best, crafty month of the year!

If you'd like to see all the different bloggers who are participating in the blog party, head over to Simon's blog here for a full list.

FREE GIFT:

As you can see by the image above, Simon is giving away their Fancy Birthday die set for free with any purchase! Just follow the three steps above. Everyone in the blog party is sharing a "gift with a certain purchase amount," or a "gift with any purchase," so be sure to hunt for those at each stop!

MY CARDS:

I had fun playing with some of the awesome products from this huge release! First up is a card using the adorable, not too spooky, Twisted Haunted House die set. I created a fun sky with some inks, and colored my house with a couple of non-traditional colors. The sentiment is from the Little Boo die set.

For my second card, I used the Trick or Treat 2 die set, creating a fun background and using a cool, shaped die set for extra interest.

On this next card, I used the Halloween Basics stamp set. The image of the bats in this set is just one, big stamp! A dark, splotchy background is all you need to create an easy and quick Halloween card.

Here is my last card, and I'm happy to say, it's not a Halloween one. Lol! For this one, I used the beautiful, Stitched Flowers embossing folder. I embossed it on a piece of Simon's Color Blend Cardstock, which already gives you the ombre look. After embossing, I used a sanding block, gently rubbing it over the flowers to bring out the white core in the paper. It's a cool technique and I love how it turned out! The sentiment is from a fabulous set called Inside Greetings Birthday.

Okay, that's it for me. I hope I've given you a few ideas for using some of the products in this fantastic release! Enjoy the other blog post from all the amazing crafters and don't forget to look for the free gifts!

Happy STAMPtember!

SSS Blog Hop With New Coordinating Dies For Tim Holtz's Halloween Stamps!

Hi everyone!

Welcome to the last stop on this fun blog hop! I'm so glad you're here and I hope you've been inspired so far! These new die sets that coordinate with some of Tim's Halloween stamp sets are awesome!

If you'd like to start at the beginning of the hop, head over to Simon's blog here.

I tend to be the sort of crafter who doesn't create scary, Halloween cards, so my makes are more on the cutesy side. I've got five cards and some cute tags for you today! First up is the Pumpkin Head stamp and die set. I adore the faces on these pumpkins!

For my next card, I used the Sketch Manor stamp and die set. This set is amazing, with lots of pieces to help you add dimension to the manor! It's difficult to see in the photo but some of the window areas, roof pieces and doorway have lots of dimension. This set is so fun to play with!

Up next are some cute, little tags, created using the Tiny Frights set. They're quick and easy to make and would look adorable added to Halloween treat bags!

This next card is a slimline and I thought the ghost from the Halloween Doodles set was perfect for this kind of card.

And here's the Halloween Sketchbook set. It's another really fun set. I decided to create a shaped card this time and I love how it turned out.

How about a non-Halloween card for my last one? It showcases the beautiful, Nature's Wonder set. The leaves in this set are so realistic and perfect for some colorful water coloring!

That's it for me. I hope you've enjoyed the hop and that I've given you some inspiration for creating with these new die sets! Thank you so much for stopping by!

SSS Happy Camper Release Blog Hop Day 2!

 Hi friends!

Welcome to my stop on the Simon Says Stamp, Happy Camper release blog hop!

FREE GIFT:

As you can see from the photo above, Simon is giving away their Sunflower Dance stamp set for free with any purchase of Happy Camper products! How awesome is that?! This gift with any purchase will expire 8/3 at 11:59 pm EDT or while supplies last.

GIVEAWAY:

Simon is giving away a $25 gift certificate at every stop along the hop, from the comment sections! Be sure to leave a comment below for a chance to win. Simon will announce the winners on their blog on Wednesday, August 6.

SIMON GALLERIES:

Did you know Simon has card galleries for each of their releases and their card kits, and even a video gallery? It's true, and you can add YOUR VERY OWN CARDS AND PROJECTS to these galleries! Here's a link to all the Simon Brand Galleries, and here's the link to the new, Happy Camper Gallery. There is so much inspiration to see! I encourage you to check them out and add your own cards/projects as well!

MY CARDS:

I only have four cards for you today. They are all fairly simple and easy to create but I still had fun making them. For this first one, I used the adorable, Shoot For The Moon stamp set. After coloring the cute images, I fussy cut them out (I did not have the matching dies) and adhered them to a scalloped circle background, created with distress ink, splatters and the Simple Stars stencil.

Next up is the Demilune embossing folder and Fancy Thank You die. I rarely make black and white cards but thought this embossed pattern would look cool in black and white.

For my third card, I used the fun, Mid Century Elemental Plate. I did some ink blending on a panel, in rainbow colors, then just covered it with the die cut piece. I also used the Fancy Thank You die set again.

Okay, so this last one is a different kind of card. Lately, I've been enjoying diamond art, or diamond painting. Have you tried it? I find it very relaxing. I got a set of smaller panels of diamond paintings and wondered if I could stamp on them. So, after finishing this one, I tried stamping a sentiment from the cute, You 2 set. I was worried it would smear because the backgrounds of the panels are shimmery. Well, it didn't smudge at all - yay! And the panels are the perfect size to adhere to an A2 size card.

I hope I've given you a bit of inspiration for using some of the products in this awesome release! Thank you so much for stopping by! Enjoy the rest of the hop!
