Hi there!
Have you seen the newest release from WPlus9? Oh, my goodness, I love so many of the stamp sets and just had to pick up a few to play with.
I've been having lots of fun with the Doodle Buds set, using watercolors on my first card.
Aren't those flowers fun?! The sentiment is included in the set too!
When I was looking at one of the flowers, it reminded me of a butterfly's wing, so I double stamped it a few times for my next card.
So simple, colored with Copics and done in about 10 minutes. Gotta love a quick card!
My last one uses watercolors too and is very CAS but I love it.
I happened to join the band wagon and picked up a set of the Zig, Clean Color Real Brush markers and I am loving them!
If you haven't seen WPlus9's new release, I highly recommend checking it out.
I'm hoping to be back soon with more cards from this release.
Thanks so much for stopping by! ♥
Hi there!
I'm excited to share a few cards tonight, using some fun products from Simon Says Stamp's newest release, The Color of Fun!
You can check out all the products in this release right here. There are some really fun, adorable stamps and dies for all your summery cards, plus some fabulous new ink colors!
I was sent a few to play with and wish I had some extra time to create more cards but I did mange to make three.
First up is a card using a stamp set called, Many Thanks. It was created by Wplus9, exclusively for SSS. What an awesome collaboration!
Yup, it's one of those fun sets which includes layering stamps and I love it! The sentiment is included in the set.
My second card uses the Cone Building stamp and die set. Such cute images!
Okay, now ya gotta hear me out on this one. I know it's bright and happy but to be honest, I also think I used too many patterns and colors. I went a bit overboard but I still think it's a fun card. I was going for scoops of sherbert in a bowl and it ended up looking more like fruit, so let's just pretend that was my first idea, okay? Ha! I added my own, hand drawn stand to the bowl and probably shouldn't have done that either.
Oh, well! Sometimes when we play with stamps, we don't always create something we like but it's a hobby, it's just a card and we live and learn, as they say, right? Even though my son said I shouldn't post this card, I'm doing it anyway, so there! :)
Okay, my last card is fun too! The Game Tile Letters stamp set brought back fun memories of playing Scrabble, so of course I had to create a Scrabble board card!
Just think of the sentiment possibilities with this set! I stamped each blank square, not perfectly but that makes it more playful. Then I colored in the squares to look like a scrabble board, leaving some spaces white, where my sentiment could be stamped out.
That's it for now! Head on over to Simon Says Stamp and check out all the fabulous products in this new release! Wait until ya see the 12 new ink colors - they are sooooo yummy!
Thanks for stopping by! ♥
