Some Simple Layering

Happy Saturday!

The weather is beautiful here today, so I'm heading outside soon. Just wanted to quickly share a card.



I used Distress Inks and a few Hero Arts stamps for layering. The Silhouette Ivy is stamped with Bundled Sage and the Elegant Flower is stamped with Broken China. I stamped the La Lettre here and there, using the Stampology Onyx ink pad. The paper behind the main panel is from the BasicGrey Kioshi paper pad. The sentiment is, again, from the Thinking of You set.

Sunflower

Hi all!

Another quick post today. Way too busy lately! I'm looking forward to having the day off tomorrow, that's for sure! For my card today, I decided to use Joy's technique again.



I used Mustard Seed and Wild Honey Distress Inks for the background stamping of the Three Sunflowers stamp. I stamped the flowers again and cut out only one of the flowers for the main image. I used an oval Nestie to frame it and the La Letter is stamped in Vintage Photo Distress Ink, behind the flower. The sentiment is from this lovely set.
