Hi there!
I got some goodies from Simon Says Stamp's new Christmas release and I've been playin'.
I love their Layered Trees Sets. There's a stamp set, matching dies and matching stencils too!
My first card uses neutral colors. I stamped the open branches of the tree and added color with a light gray Copic marker.
The star was also colored with a Copic, in a light beige color. The background was created using the new Falling Snow stencil and the sentiment is one from the new, "Christmas" clear set.
My next card uses the Falling Snow stencil again, only this time on a white background using blue ink. I also used two of the new SSS Snowflake dies; Kate and Eliza.
That die-cut, Merry Christmas sentiment is a new goodie too - LOVE IT!!
I'm hoping to find more time to play soon - lovin' this new release!
Thanks for stopping by! ♥

Autumn Flowers
Happy Saturday!
In the last couple of days we've been feeling a change coming. The wind has picked up, the trees have really been changing colors and the air is much cooler this morning. I DO love fall, but I don't want to think about what's next! *SIGH*
So, instead of thinking about snow, cold and the long winter months ahead, I thought I'd create a card with some autumn flowers. I'm definitely not ready to give up putting flowers on my cards just yet!
I took out a bunch of Distress Paints again - placing them on my craft sheet, spritzing them with a bit of water and swooshing my watercolor paper into the inks. I always love the result 'cause ya never know what you're gonna get!

I stamped the SSS Whimsical Flowers onto patterned paper and then inked them up with different colors of Distress Inks. I also added a few white paint splatters and some white Enamel Accents to the centers. The sentiment is from Hero Arts - a wonderful set called, Made With Love.
Since I used some different color mediums on this card, I thought I'd enter it into the Moxie Fab World's Color Media Challenge.
Okay, I'm off to get some yard work done before it gets too cold around here. Lots of dead flowers and veggies to pull, plus trimming down some of the bushes and plants.
Enjoy your Saturday and thanks for stopping by! :)
