Lots of Altenew Flowers!

Hey guys!

I've got some more floral cards for you today - just can't seem to stop coloring them! With warmer temperatures lately, here in Minnesota, I'm really aching for spring! I can't believe we will be in the upper 50's to low 60's for the next few days - that's crazy for February, here in the upper midwest! I'll be going for some long walks for sure! Although, I know it's just a tease for springtime because by Friday, we're suppose to get some snow again - boo!

Okay, let's get to the cards! For each one I used stamp sets from Altenew. I really love their floral stamps! This first one is from the set called, Adore You.

So Fun coloring these flowers with Copics! And the, I Adore You sentiment is from the same set.

For the next card I used Altenew's, Spring Daisy set.

Also colored with Copics but this time I wanted a softer look. I added a bit of sparkle with Spectrum Noir's sparkle pen. It's my new favorite and I'm liking even better than Wink of Stella. And that gorgeous sentiment is from Wplus9's Handlettered Thanks set.

Next up is Altenew's, Beautiful Day set.

More Copic coloring and I had to add my "Kathy Rac white dots!" It's not easy to stop adding them, believe me! 

My last card uses a newer set from Altenew called, Amazing You and it is a beauty! So many different floral and leaf images to play with!

Sometimes clean and simple is the best. Copics again on this one. And I love designs where the image is cut along the edge of the card! Makes a CAS card more interesting and fun!

Winter Flowers and a Great Sale!

Hi guys!

Okay, so being the warm weather, summer-loving person that I am, I continue to find myself coloring more flowers. Can't help it - I need them in my life, especially when the winter months drag on. Don't get me wrong though - I'm very happy January is gone and February is a shorter month! I know I shouldn't wish time would go faster but it's so hard not to want warmer, sunnier weather! (and flowers) *sigh*

So for today's card, I used the appropriately named stamp set, Winter Flowers, from Simon Says Stamp. I love this set and decided to use my Zig Markers for a bit of water coloring. I also used Simon's, Floral Shapes stamp set and did some masking. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday's, Greenhouse Crocus stamp set.
