Card For Deb and Dawn's Giveaway!

Although it's a rainy day, I'm happy to stay inside to get caught up and do a bit of crafting! Hopefully I can get a couple of cards made today. Life sure does get in the way sometimes!

I'm posting a card today that I made for Deborah. Patty organized a little card drive to help cheer Deborah up. She has had such a difficult time with pain lately. She deserves so much more! Deb is one of those lovely ladies in the Hero Arts Flickr pool, who gives and gives and gives! She always seems to do things for everyone else and it's nice to be part of something that gives to HER! Thank you to Patty for organizing this drive! Throughout the long weeks of pain that Deborah has endured, she continues to amaze me with her wonderful, positive attitude and fabulous humor! Her blog is a favorite of mine and makes me laugh out loud each time I read it! Here is the card I made for Deb.

The pretty paper behind the scalloped circle is from an Origami pack. I also used the same paper to make my first ever paper flower. The Hero Arts butterfly was embossed in gold. I hope it gave Deborah a bit of cheer.

Before I go, I want to let you know about a fun giveaway on Dawn's blog to celebrate her 250th post! Scoot on over and leave a comment to have a chance to win! And while you're there, look around....she is so very talented!

I hope your weekend is off to a good start! :)
