Happy Halloween!

Hi all!

I have a fun post today of some Halloween goodness from where I work. Just a few neat things that we do at this time of year.

Of course you have to have pumpkins.

And I love all the different kinds of apples that come into the store in the Fall! Yum!

Our cake decorator made this haunted house! It sits on top of our salad bar and is quite large. She wasn't quite finished decorating the front of the house, but you get the idea. It's made of graham crackers and lots of frosting!

Here's another view.

The shiny windows are made by melting Jolly Rancher candies and letting them cool. Looks like stained glass! So cool!

Close-up of the door.

She also makes caramel apples. We use the large Honey Crisp apples and the highest quality Abdallah caramel! She loves to add fun ingredients like crushed Butterfinger or Snickers candy and toffee chuncks! Again. . . YUM!

It wouldn't be Halloween without pumpkin cookies! Cute!

Last but not least, the amazing tree cake! If you look closely, you'll see that it is actually made using all cupcakes! Isn't it just adorable?!

That's it for me today. Hope you enjoyed my Halloween post and have a fun, spooky, treat-filled day! :)

What a great Post Barb. I loved the Haunted House. I used to do cake decorating, so know how much work was put into this. What a clever person or maybe persons. What satisfaction!
Here in N.Z we do not celebrate Halloween to the extent that you do in the U.S.A. Some of the local children come knocking but that is about it.
Australis beat the All Blacks in the Rugby so no Smiley faces this end. Not to worry there is always a next time.
Smiles:)
