It's The Big Day!

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!

I'll be heading to work in the Flower Department soon, but wanted to post a quick card before leaving. My hubby and I went out to eat last night with 6 other couples and had a blast! We went to a restaurant in downtown Minneapolis called Ruth's Chris. It's quite expensive and we only eat there once a year if that. I noticed that there was a little doily underneath the small cup of butter and grabbed it right away! If Ivy hadn't mentioned in her discussion thread on Flickr that she does this, I never would have given it a thought! Thanks, Ivy! :) Here's the quick card I made using the doily.

I stamped the text across the doily, layered the pieces, stamped the xoxo on the Ek punched heart and the ribbon was a gift from Sue.

I also wanted to share a card I sent to Louise, along with a package of goodies, for her win in my 90-minute scramble a few weeks ago. She should have received them by now, but haven't heard from her yet, so I will wait to post it on Flickr.

One more thing. . .here is a little peek from a post I'm working on. This is a gorgeous Tulip from the floral department where I work. I have lots more to share, so stay tuned!

Thanks for stopping by today! Hope your Valentine's Day is filled with lots of hugs and kisses! :)

Well you know I've been big on doilies lately, but I never thought to stamp the whole thing. I love the way it turned out. I got pink tulips yesterday and told my husband that I like them way better than roses. Great picture of the tulip.
