Summer Card Camp Day #2

After viewing Jennifer's video today, I created a card using the color combo of the week.

She showed us a fun technique on how to make a window card. Because the card base is textured, I decided not to stamp anything on the front. The acetate window is stamped with the sentiment and inside I stamped the Magical Background with Soft Lilac Shadow Ink. The poppies were colored using a mix of Distress Inks and water, cut out and placed on the front of the card. I adhered the orange, gem dragonfly and butterfly on the acetate also.

I'm having fun at camp so far and am looking so forward to seeing 6 guest designer cards tomorrow!

Hope everyone is having a good week! Thank you so much for coming by! :)

This was such a fun technique that Jennifer shared! I love your tall poppies and that Magical stamp makes the most beautiful background. Although I am not a fan of acetate on a card because I can't stand it potentially getting dirty with fingerprints, I have to say that I had fun making my card! Again, a stunning card Barbara!

Such a sweet card. Love the window and those precious poppies next to it. Looking forward to being at "camp" with you! I haven't tried the window card yet - that rather intimidates somewhat.
