Simple, Tall Card for CAS-ual Fridays

Happy Saturday!

I just had to join in on another CAS-ual Fridays challenge. This one is to make a tall card and keep it simple.

The card measures 4 X 9. I love the look of tall cards! I colored the butterflies with Copics and was inspired by Brenda's card! So pretty! This butterfly is from the Antique Engravings clear set, from Hero Arts. The sentiment is also Hero Arts and has been cut apart so I could place it where I wanted on the card.

I had a tough time not using a background stamp, or adding any embellishments but I'm doing as told and embracing my white space!

Thanks for stopping by! I appreciate each comment so much! They definitely put a smile on my face! See?--------> :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

I absolutely adore your card! I love your copic coloring on the butterflies- they really pop against the crisp background (I know how hard it is to leave it white!)! Gorgeous work!

Hi, Barb! I LOVE this idea...I actually thought of stamping multiple butterflies in a 4x9 card for this challenge...so glad you did it because it is LOVELY! Your coloring is amzing, by the way. (I still don't have Copics...not sure what is holding me back other than the cost!) Good luck with the challenge..this card is perfect for it!

This is such a lovely card, Barb! So classic and pretty. I think you have this white space thing mastered - it means that the design has to be really exceptional and yours is. Perfect placement of the images, great balance and cool that you cut the sentiment to make it work so perfectly.

PS - I love that you took this picture on your deck - makes it feel like I am there, too. Wait, I need another ice cube in my tea!

I love your tall card Barb. The butterflies are beautiful! It's hard to "embrace" the white space, isn't it?
