Just Starting to Snow. . .

Just Starting to Snow. . . by bdengler4 (Barb)

. . . .only on this card, thank goodness.

I love the Tree Trunks stamp and hadn't played with it for awhile. The background is shaded with distress inks, then I silver embossed the Life of the Party Stars. I white embossed the trees and cut them out to add to the panel.

I didn't like the way the dots from the stamp looked in my sky, so I added white enamel accents on top of them and in a few more spots, here and there, to make it look like it was just starting to snow. Hope it's a long time before that actually happens!

I used two birds from the Antique Engravings set, colored and cut out. The sentiment is from the Merry Christmas Trees, clear set.

Thanks so much for your visit! I really appreciate it! :)

Gorgeous background Barb. Those "fussy" cut trees are beautiful against the vibrant colors.

Hi, Barb! I'm playing "catch-up" again - trying to blog hop and make some comments. Just had to tell you that I love this card! The white enamel on the snowflakes; the tiny birds; the colors, the cut out trees - what a wonderful scene you have made! Great job!

Oh Barb this is so gorgeous and believe it or not ... this is how many stars you see in the sky in the countryside where I live because there are no street lights. I love this!
