Playin' With "Paints"

I loved Sally's video on the Hero Arts blog today and couldn't wait to play when I got home from work!

I knew the colors I wanted to use but did not have those in paints. So, I used two different Tombow markers, scribbled them onto my craft sheet, spritzed with water and used a paintbrush to splatter the background. I also added a few darker pink swipes around the edges.

Then, I did the same thing by scribbling the markers onto my acrylic block, spritzing again with water and stamping that directly onto white paper, to create the colored panel. I used the same colors for my white embossed flower and I also colored the originally white ribbon with the pink marker.

I had lots of fun using this technique!

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by! :)

Wow this is boldly and wonderfully gorgeous. I was gonna try this too, but I am afraid that it would not be the masterpiece that you have here.Truly amazing. Your colors are so striking and capture the eye immediately. This is sure to be a feature on the company blog. Hats off to you on an amazing job.Hugs.
