Moxie Fab, Textured to Perfection

I can't believe it's been a week since my last blog post. Where does the time go? At this time of year, it seems to go so fast, doesn't it? I think for me, it feels that way because I don't want winter to come yet. I have been really enjoying the amazing weather we've had all month, taking in the beauty of the changing leaves and warm temps. Unfortunately it won't last much longer - *sigh*

I know you're not here for a weather report, so onto today's post. When I saw the challenge this month over at the Moxie Fab blog, I wanted to play along.

I made a little tag using emboss resist, some distress inks and a Hero Arts leaf stamp. I wanted to add more texture, and I found a piece of burlap, so I added that as a background for my tag. It was a sort of an ugly, light brown color, which I changed, by inking it with vintage photo distress ink. Some pretty pearls, a brown button and a string from the burlap, finish it off.

I know I say this all the time, but I really do appreciate you stopping by - thank you so much! I hope the rest of your week is full of crafty time! :)

Hello Barb,
Hot, Hot, Hot is how I would describe this Tag. It is glowing like the sunset. The orange tone radiates a warmth and the yellow emulates the sunshine,
We see yellow as cheerful, like a bright Daffodil, this palette has energy. Did you know that the eye sees a reflective yellow before it notices any other colour!!That is why it is used in advertising.
So you have produced a card for consumers as well as being a delight to the eye, it is gorgeous.
Smiles:)
