Crackle Snowflake

Hi all,

Before I show you my card today, I want to thank everyone for your sweet comments on my last post. I had a much better day today (I knew I would.)

The best part of today, was playing with some new goodies! I had such fun! Here's the card I created.

Crackle Snowflake by bdengler4 (Barb)

The Hero Arts, Flower Dot Pattern was stamped with Silver ink. The smaller, white embossed snowflakes are from the Hero Arts, Decorate Your Holidays, clear set.

I finally bought a large snowflake punch and love it! I punched out two of them and covered each with Clear Rock Candy, Distress Crackle Paint. The effect is so cool! Here's a close-up so you can see what I mean.

Thanks for coming by! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! :)

A new day, and a great card.
The dominant Turquoise is cool and fresh, and matched with the classic glistening silver perceives a cold winters day. Your design with the large snowflake taking prominence and the softness of the BG is spectacular.
A striking card Barb.
Smiles:)

I'm so excited that I get to go to a real scrapbooking store tomorrow and stare at all the Hero Arts stamps in person and pick one to take home with me. You've really inspired me to work more with this company. Sheesh, this card is outrageously lovely and creative! I adore the colors and the layers, the sparkle and shine.

Hi Barb. So happy to see this beautiful card today. Love that you shared this snowflake embellishment and it really has inspired me to make some for my Christmas tree. Love the magical feel to this card.

So sorry that I haven't been here lately but life really has been crazy but hopefully things will slow down now that I have some projects completed. I also wanted to let you know that you made my day with the wonderful comment you made about my Poppy card. It is those comments that really push me forward to keep doing what I am doing - making cards! Lol. It really means so much.
