Hi!
I've been playing with the Hero Arts, Reindeer Framelit, Stamp and Die-Cut set lately. Such a cute set! I made this first card the other day. It uses a reindeer and the trees from the set.
I thought it would be fun to create a little scene inside a scalloped circle card. The sky is Sticky Back Canvas, shaded with Distress Inks. I put the whole scene together, then cut the shape with a die and my Cuttlebug.
I wanted to play some more with the trees in the same set today, but ended up just using one. I stamped it several times across the panel and cut out three others from patterned paper.
It was such a beautiful, fall day today, I just had to shoot the photo outside. At the exact time I was pushing the shutter button, a pretty leaf fell right next to my card. Thought it went well with the colors, so I left it in the photo.
Thanks for coming by! Hope everyone has a great week! :)

Barb, what great cards you are making with the cute trees! I love the scene in the first fun, scalloped card...so fun! I love the second card, too...such pretty colors. I can see why you'd want to take the picture outside..it looks like you had a gorgeous fall day (it rained all day here...cold and dreary!). Great cards!
