A Couple of Thank You's

Happy Weekend!

I've got a quick post for you today to share a couple of thank you cards I created using some of my new Hero Arts stamps.

This first one uses the new, Clear Hexagons set. I stamped them with Hero Arts Neon Inks, before cutting them out. The background is stamped with the new, Tiny Ink Spots wood stamp using Soft Granite Shadow Ink.

For my second card, I used the Tiny Ink Spots again, this time embossing it in white, then using Distress Inks to add some color. I die-cut a doily and a layered flower to add to embellish the card, and the sentiment is from another new set called, Fancy Basics.

REMINDER: The Hero Arts Hostess blog hop starts on Monday!

Hello Barb,
The tiny ink spot wood stamp is very effective as a background, I especially like your second card, but both are very beautiful.

These are both great, Barb! I am so loving that new background stamp (but I have promised myself not to buy any more wood), and how you have used it in two totally different ways. Especially love it with the distress inks and that delicate lacy feature. Those are your colors! Can't wait for the hop; you've already got a good start! Happy weekend, dear gal.
