CAS-ual Fridays - Long & Short

Happy Monday!

I've got a card to share today before heading out into the frigid temps! Holy, moly! We are suppose to have a windchill factor of -35F all day long!! That's BELOW zero folks! I am not looking forward to getting in my car after work later today!

I always get tired of winter in the middle of January, and I long for warmer temps and blooming flowers, so I couldn't resist switching my blog header - makes me feel better! :)

My card today is a fun one for the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #86.

I always enjoy creating long (or tall) cards, and I've been loving these papers from Doodlebug Design's 6x6 pad called, Lovebirds, so I used some of them on this card.

After adhering the papers onto the card base, I simply added a paper pieced bird and a sentiment from the Hero Arts set called, Valentine Sayings.

Thanks for coming by! I hope it's warmer where you are! BRRRRR!!

goodness me Barb.... I really can't imagine temperatures that LOW!!!! Winter here in Auckland only gets to around 45F ( 8C) so not anywhere near as cold as you. Your new header is lovely and cheerful. And your card is delightful.
