Stamping with Distress Stains

Happy Saturday!

I've been struggling with my mojo again - happening more and more often lately. I guess you could say I'm getting used to it. The one good thing about having no mojo? It gives me plenty of time to check out blogs and videos, and eventually something inspires me and gets the juices flowing again. This time it was videos from Shari Carroll. I love when she uses blues and browns in her designs, so I grabbed my Distress Stains and used them on the new, Hero Arts, Leafy Vines stamp.

After randomly swiping the Distress Stains onto the stamp, I spritzed with water before stamping the image.

I've been gearing up for Valentine's Day at work. Getting all my orders in, checking and re-checking to make sure I'm ready for the big day! I am honestly not looking forward to all the work involved with cutting each bouquet that comes in (it's hundreds!) It took us eight hours last year to do all that cutting. Once that part of it is finished though, it is such a relief! I'm hoping to take a couple of photos to share with you again.

Enjoy your weekend and thanks for the visit! :)

Hello Barb,
Your choice of stamp with the watercolour effect not only relates a warmth to the onlooker, but creates wonderful movement as well, adding the twine element enhances this feeling to the onlooker. A gorgeous one layer card.
Smiles:)
