I have a card to share today for a very special girl. I'm sure you've seen the "Cards For Maddy" campaign but if you haven't, please check out this post here.
All the information you need is there, and it would be wonderful if you could send this brave, young girl a hand made card. I can't even imagine what she and her family are going through.
I wanted my card for Maddy to be bright, happy and fun - hoping it will cheer her up, even just a little. So I pulled out a clear set from Simon Says Stamp and used one of the rose images.
I also used some of the tiny, open dot images which are included in the set. I stamped them with black ink on the orange panel, then filled in the little circles with a white gel pen. The papers are all from the, "Fruit Stand" 6x6 paper pad from Doodlebug Design.
PLEASE consider making a card for Maddy if you haven't already done so.

The glossy accents on my card for Maddy are drying as we speak! I read some of her journal entries on her Caring Bridge site and was inspired by her lack of whining or "poor me". She has a great spirit and is braver than I could be under the circumstances. I love your cheerful card, Barb! I, too, went all out with the cheerful thing!!
