Summer Card Camp 2 - Day 3

Hi there!

I'm sharing a card today which I created for Day 3 of Summer Card Camp 2. I happen to ADORE Laura Bassen! Not just her, but her videos, her cards and her amazing talent! She comes up with the coolest designs! So when I saw that she was one of the guest designers for Day 3, I was pretty darn happy. :)

All this week we are to use the same color combos and one of three sketches, so after watching Laura's video yesterday, and seeing her fabulous card, I created a similar one.

Laura used a beautiful, layered flower on her card. I decided to use a layered heart instead. She also did some white stitching, which looked awesome, but I don't own a sewing machine, so I added black faux stitching. The die-cut letters are from Hero Arts' Fancy Dies, Alphabet Uppercase die set.

I was in class for Day 4 this morning and as usual, loved the lesson. They challenged us to make a 10-minute card, which I'm hoping to do soon!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope your week is going well! :)

Hello Barb
What a fabulous card with it's bright colour palette, it looks stunning against the Kraft, and the three hearts add wonderful movement.
