A Scene Card - Say What?

Hi there!

If you know me at all, you know I do not do well when I try to create a scene on my cards. It's always been a challenge for me. BUT now that Simon Says Stamp has come out with the Make a Scene Stencil, even I can do it!

You can also purchase the Masking Parts - they match some of the images on the stencil, which makes it even more fun!

I used Distress Inks and Sponge Daubers to add the colors. I inked up the grass portion several times to give it a more filled-in look.

I'm heading to Scrapfest this weekend at the Mall of America! (which happens to be quite close to where I live.) I'll be meeting up with some Flickr and blogging friends - yay! I'm also taking a couple of classes - Tim Holtz and Hero Arts. Really looking forward to all the fun, crafting, shopping and friends!

Hope you all have a fun weekend too! :)
