Happy weekend! I love Saturdays! I don't usually have to go to work on Saturday and today is doubly fun because my friend, Virginia has a brand new challenge feature on her blog!
If you haven't read about it yet, stop on over there and check it out! It's called, Virginia's View, and her first challenge is all about watercoloring. She shares some wonderful cards of her own for inspiration and a beautiful inspiration board as well.
I went right to work on a fun, watercolored background using the Five Line Background stamp from Hero Arts. I embossed it in white and then added my watercoloring by mixing some Tim Holtz Distress Paints with water.
The die-cut feathers are from Simon Says Stamp. I watercolored those too, and I used a sentiment from a favorite old set from Hero Arts called, All Occasion Messages.
I hope you'll join in the fun over on Virginia's blog!
Thanks for stopping by! ♥

Nicely done Barb! My favourite colours again! It's so funny, since learning Zentangle I see so many new patterns and also recognise so many, the background stamp is a Zentangle pattern called Keeko, and I just taught it in my first class this Friday gone!
