Freehand Watercolor Flowers

Hi again!

I'm back tonight with another card using a lesson from day #10 of Watercolor For Card Makers.

I chose to give Tasnim's technique a try. She created some fabulous firework flowers that were so cool looking! I decided to create mine a bit different by making them a little taller, less round, adding some leaves at the base of the flowers and also stems.

I think they turned out fun and whimsical, don't you? I could definitely use more practice, especially on the leaves but I loved learning how to use the brush in a new way - turning it as I swiped the paint to create each flower petal. The sentiment is from the Hello Sunshine Daisies set by Hero Arts.

Short and sweet tonight - trying to get to bed earlier. We've got our good friend, Greg, coming to stay with us for a week or so starting tomorrow. It's always so fun to see him! He's my hubby's best buddy, he was in our wedding and he makes us all laugh! Can't wait!

Hope you all have a great weekend! Thanks for stopping by! ♥

You have found your calling, this card is just gorgeous, you should now progress to a canvas and make some wall Art, you are that good at this form of creating.
