More Watercoloring

Hi there!

I hope all of you moms out there had a wonderful Mother's Day! My hubby had dinner all ready for me last night when I got home, along with pink roses and a lovely card. So sweet!

After a long weekend at work, I was there again today, having to fill up my empty bouquet case and all the empty shelves with more bouquets and plants. We sold so much over the weekend I had to order a ton more to get the department looking back to normal. Whew! So glad it's over!

I've got another card to share tonight. This one is for day #7 of Watercolor for Card Makers class. Today's lesson was called, Faux Hand-Painting.

I took out the Fresh Cut Florals set from WPlus9 again and used the same technique as my last card. This time I used a small rose stamp, one of the tiny floral stamps and some leaves, to create my watercolor "painting."

I used distress Inks and water. I also added some splatters for a bit more interest. The sentiment is from the same set.

I'm really looking forward to having Tuesday off - yay! I may not get out of my jammies all day.

Thanks for stopping by! ♥

Stunning!! I love the bold colors you used for the elements. I am playing around with this technique using Penelope's Blossoms from Lawn Fawn. I think I am obsessed!!!
