Hi there!
Tonight I have a card to share for the newest online card class called, Water Color For Card Makers. It started today and the lessons were awesome! Three videos were shown with such fun techniques and I couldn't wait to try the one Jennifer Rzasa taught us!
Who would ever think using water colors with a stencil could turn out like that!? Typically, water colors will end up seeping through portions of the stencil and the end results will be just a big blob of color. So, if you're wondering how how did it, you need to take the class!
I WILL give you one hint though. The first step is NOT laying down the stencil.
The other two techniques were shared by Laura Bassen and Kristina Werner. I had to go to work today and haven't had a chance to play with those ones yet. It's not going to be easy trying to keep up with homework because of all the hours I'll be working. It's Mother's Day week and one of my busiest in the floral department, but I'm going to try as hard as I can to stay caught up with the lessons. Good thing I'm a night owl!
Hope your week has started off well! Thanks for stopping by! ♥

This turned out beautifully! My first attempt at the stencil technique was an epic fail! Like you, working full time makes it difficult to try all the techniques right away!
Gorgeous, Barb! I will have to give this another go as my stencils and watercolours wouldn't play last night :) Love the colour combo and sweet sentiment!
Your card is amazing! I LOVE your colors and design.
You rocked this technique, Barb! I couldn't get my stencil to cooperate--it was an epic fail! But I'm inspired to try again after seeing your card! What a beauty!

You had such success with this technique, Barb... I did not. But think I just didn't use enough paint.. or weight the stencil down while drying. Beautiful - I will try again!
