More Peerless Watercoloring

Hello and happy Friday!

I can't seem to put away my Peerless Water Colors! They are so fun to play with. This time I used a deep red color called Scarlet Lake and mixed it with Marigold Yellow. I added lots of water to tone down the red a bit. The colors in the photo look so much more orange than in real life - the card is actually very peach-y looking. I tried everything to correct it but nothing helped. Oh, well!

See the whiter spots in the background? Those were created by dripping dots of clean water from my paint brush onto the dried background, letting them sit for a few seconds, then dabbing them dry with a tissue. Works in the same way as Distress Inks - so fun!

The Bubble Parade Die is from Simon Says Stamp. I popped up a few of the circles for a bit of dimension. I added the enamel hearts and tiny strips of white and black cardstock to the left side. Love doing that - I think it helps to finish off the card.

Oh! And that fabulous, big, bold "Hugs" die-cut was a gift from my sweet friend, Martha and I've been wanting to use it on a card for so long. I think it's perfect for this one. Thank you again, Marth! I love it!

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! ♥
