Tulip Stencil - CAS Cards

Hello!

I'm back again today to share a couple of cards using the, Bouquet of Flowers Stencil from Simon Says Stamp's, This is the Life, new release.

This stencil has six flower images, two stems and a couple of leaves. I immediately fell in love with the tulip image and created two cards.

This first one was so quick and easy. Just some paper, ink and the stencil. I think it came together in about 10 minutes. That's one of  joys of stencils!

Distress Inks and a Mini Blending Tool made it so easy to use the stencil! That beautiful sentiment is from a set called, Friendship Messages. I adore this set and have been using it a lot lately. It has so many sentiments, perfect for lots of different card making occasions!

My second card has another very simple design but this time I used some Embossing Paste.

I colored the paste with Distress Paints before spreading it on the stencil. The sentiment is, again, from the Friendship Messages set. It's too bad you can't see the shimmer on the image from the Wink of Stella pen - so pretty in real life!

Please stop by tomorrow when I will be sharing a card or two using the Simon Says Stamp August Card Kit! Can't wait to show you!

Thanks for coming by to visit! Hope you all have a good week! ♥

Barb, I love the stenciling with ink! I avoid stencils because I haven't had success with the paste, but the ink is awesome!! Beautiful cards... many hugs.

Oh, Barb...your cards are absolutely GORGEOUS! You have created 2 beauties here...I love the softness of the first card, and all the texture you added with your paste on the 2nd one! I'll bet they are both really stunning IRL, too!!!

HELLO Barb
I do like your cute cards Barb, but for me personally it is your flower creations that react so positively with me, the Tulips look fantastic, especially the second one with the texture, I am all about texture as you know. We are in the depths of winter here in NZ, so any type of spring flower to gaze upon warms my heart.
Smiles:)
